The organic shape and imperfect finish, along with the hand-painted detailing around the rim adds layers of character to the Malia Mug. Sold as a pair, the reactive glaze means no two mugs will be identical.
The mugs form part of a collection crafted by skilled Chinese artisans. The country has a rich heritage of arts and crafts, but sadly it is now more renowned for mass production and many of its traditional skills have been forgotten or overlooked. We work together with our suppliers to protect these skills. A delicate and beautiful set.
